The Wise Owl Bird of Prey Rescue

Wise Owl Bird of Prey Rescue & mobile display team is a family run business offering a very personal, informal, educational & professional bird of prey experience. They are based between Huddersfield & Wakefield and will cover most of Greater Manchester & Yorkshire.

They offer several different activities: static & flying displays involving owls, falcons, hawks & buzzards, many of which are native to the UK.

Their bird of prey centre is not open to the public, but are fully mobile & are able to provide static and flying displays anywhere within an hour’s travelling time.

They cover many types of events such as school visits, fêtes & country shows; birthday & anniversary parties.

Whatever the occasion and whatever the size, Wise Owl can tailor make a birds of prey experience to suit your needs.

Wise owl can offer you a range of shows including static displays & flying displays. The flying displays are very family orientated and normally involve children & adults participating.

The static displays are very hands on and the cost to you is kept down by the public giving money to handle the birds. Early booking is recommended because summer weekends get booked quickly.

Educational Workshops

Wise Owl offer a fun, but educational visit to suit all ages. They have been doing this for over seven years and can accommodate most requirements. Staff and Pupils are encouraged to hold the birds on a gloved hand. Photos are free to take. Presentations can be held indoors or out. A flying display is included, usually involving staff “volunteers”. They will bring 6-7 birds, including Owls, Hawks and Kestrels.

Weddings

You & your guests will be amazed as a barn owl or other bird silently flies down the aisle to deliver your rings on a silk ribbon to the best man or groom. This is sure to make your wedding a magical day that will never be forgotten.
