Pet Portraits and Photography
Whether you have a snake, a hamster, a cat, a dog or a horse, whatever the animal if you want it photographed then we are happy to do it.
They can be either photographed in the studio (if they are small enough) or in a natural environment, depending on what kind of photograph you would like. Animals that don’t travel well could also be photographed in your own home.
I know that pets have personalities of their own and we aim to bring them out in the shoot, giving you photographs to treasure of loved family pets and their quirky personalities! So if it is a dog bounding down a hill on its favorite walk, or a horse in the paddock at dawn I am happy to do it.
Why not have some family shots with the pets too.

Carl Jones Pet Portraits
I pride myself on a personal service and try to meet the pet/animal to be painted, not only to take the photos that I will be using, but also to get to know the animal as no two pets are ever the same and all have their own individual characteristics then try to portray these in my work.
As long as distance isn’t an issue, the taking of photos and delivery are included in the price, however, anything over a 25 mile radius of Evesham, negotiations will be regarding fuel costs and postage.
I use the same paint for my mural work as I use for my portraits. Murals come in all shapes and sizes. From a small trompe l’oeil effect key hanging discretely on the wall to a full size yellow submarine themed wall, just let your imagination run wild and together, we’ll make your home unique..
Dog Artists. The portrait artists that we use are able to work from pet photographs of your pet dog or dogs and recreate their image into a superb oil painting, if you have several pet canines we can incorporate them all onto one artists canvas as per your wishes.
All paintings are hand painted with top quality oil paints and artists brushes onto duck cotton canvas which is of the highest quality.
Labradors ,Beagles, German Shepherds, Collies, Jack Russells, Spaniels or any terrier dog and other breeds are no problem.
With our professional approach and equipment, we can come to your home and create a scene that will make your dog shine. We carefully light our sets so that the process becomes invisible in the finished image. There’s just that certain something that lifts it from a snapshot to a great shot.
If you prefer the studio look, we can come to you, or you can come to an event where we have our gazebo studio
As an established, professional horse portrait artist, I am based in the South Downs National Park, West Sussex. My specialisation in finely detailed equestrian portrait paintings, with an emphasis on capturing the horses’ true likeness and character has brought a wide range of commissions from throughout the UK and abroad.
My paintings can be based on your own photos, or equally, I can visit the horse(s) to produce my own studies for a painting, suited to match your particular requirements.
