Our stallions are kept busy with their driving work and do not stand at stud. Although we appreciate it can be difficult and expensive to import the semen of approved stallions from abroad we would always encourage Friesian mare owners to breed with approved stallions if they possibly can. If this really is not an option, at least use a Ster Stallion but do your research first to make sure they are not too closely related.
Finally, please feel free to call or email us for further advice about the breed or on purchasing your friesian.
Bespoke Embryo Transfer & Mare Livery Packages
In conjunction with our stud vet Helen Van Tuyll BVSC MRCVS director of VT Vets, we can offer our clients packages to suit their specific needs by handling as much or as little of the breeding process as you require.
If you wish you can send your mare to stay at livery with us so that we take care of everything for you, from getting her in foal to foaling down handling and weaning.
We also offer embryo transfer packages and have several suitable recipient broodmares that are available to lease.
And if you would like more information or either Party Trick, Bespoke Embryo Transfer or Mare Livery Packages, then please CONTACT US.
Renkum Stud relocated from Lindfield, Sussex to Castlemorton Worcestershire during 2015 to expand the stud. Better facilities, more land and close to eight show centres which will help us to produce and market our young show jumpers in the years ahead.
Both children are riding and helping after school hours and have been winning many prizes locally. Hendrik is now on horses and Meredith is building up her own string of 13.2 and soon 14.2 homebreds.
Renkum Stud has produced 7 International horses and we are now able to produce more and more International prospects at regular intervals. Our broodmares are second to none as a herd
Renkum Stud appeals to owners who like the facilities and peace of mind of being on a professional yard. We offer various types of livery all year round
United Coloured Stud Broodmares have been purchased for their pedigree, studbook, conformation and movement, also if competed their ability and temperament to do the relevant discipline, hopefully this will give us a head start when choosing the right stallion, which we research and look into thoroughly
